As you already may have noticed, ACMV has recently launched a new project we’re pretty excited about:
Local Colors May Vary (LCMV) – a series of curated slideshows, combining contemporary fine-art photography with live music by international artists – with the aim of creating a varicolored overall picture of the respective theme (country or city), and promoting the work of emerging and talented photographers & musicians.
Each edition of LCMV focuses on a different country, area or city, and is accompanied by live music emphasizing the respective theme and local culture.
LCMV takes place at Das Gift in Berlin/Neukölln approximately every 2-3 months.
Das Gift is an old Berliner style Kneipe which was taken over by a lovely Scottish couple; one a musician and the other an artist.

LCMV #1 BERLIN
The first LCMV edition is themed “BERLIN” and will take place at Das Gift in Berlin/Neukölln on the evening of Saturday, November 2nd 2013, in conjunction with the annual Berlin/Neukölln art festival “NACHTUNDNEBEL”.
For LCMV #1 BERLIN we are very happy to announce that author/musician f.s.blumm – king of pling will be accompanying the curated slideshow with 2 live sets à 20-30 minutes, creating a melodic and atmospheric setting for the projected images.
Frank Schültge aka f.s.blumm releases on several labels (Morr Music, staubgold, pingipung .a.o.), and makes melodious experiments with anything he gets hold of.
His fantastic new record „Up Up And Astray“ is out on November 25th on Morr Music.
In the meantime you can listen to his album „FOOD“ from earlier this year.
In a nutshell, we couldn’t agree more when pitchfork says…
This man makes some damn charming music.“
