The Athens Photo Festival, presented by the Hellenic Centre for Photography, has opened submissions for the 2015 Festival, to be held May – July 2015.
The Festival welcomes submissions from emerging or established artists/photographers, curators, collectives, archives galleries and organizations worldwide for its Main Exhibition Programme. The selected projects will be presented and exhibited during the Athens Photo Festival 2015 at the Benaki Museum from 3 June to 26 July, 2015. (mehr …)
During the course of the Photoszene Festival, on the 19th of August, The PhotobookMuseum has a grand opening. It will be the first museum in the world that is dedicated to the medium of the photobook in all its facets. (mehr …)

The 6th International Fotobookfestival presents Daido Moriyama

The festival pays homage to Moriyama’s book opus through numerous program items,
events and releases.
Daido Moriyama is one of the most important living photographers and photobook makers of current times. His career began during the sixties in Tokyo, where he became a member of the influential Provoke group that created the most important style of Japanese post-war avantgarde photography.
His oeuvre plays a central part in the establishment of Japanese photography as one of the important creative developments in the history of photography. (mehr …)
