Some photographs are more important than others. Preserved memories of people you love and friends you have lost, places that shaped your understanding of the world and events that had a significant impact on your life. romka magazine is devoted to these photographs.
romka is a collective photo album in which people from all over the world tell the story behind their favorite photograph. Amateurs and professionals are treated equally — everyone is invited to take part in the ongoing project. A new issue is published every winter and distributed worldwide.
romka magazine was founded / is edited by Joscha Bruckert, designed by Benedikt Bock, and based in Leipzig, Germany.
